Founders

Na'Baroness Sabiah Caline (pre-patterndraw) - Matriarch and mother to Pateria. The original Royal Barony grant given to her and her brother in gratitude for sharing the new process of ways making with the crown and establishing the Waysmasters Guild.

Na'Ptah Khalid Caline (pre-patterndraw) - Brother to Sabiah who chose to return to common status rather than join House Jesby when Caline was absorbed into it. He took up the Guild reins and his line has run it since. Due to the 'Jesby atrocities' Khalid diguised and altered records so that his ties to Caline where hidden. To this date, it is still not realised that Khalid's past lies with Caline.

Elders

Na'Baroness Pateria Caline - Born of Sabiah and Jesby, Pateria is the youngest daughter of the man from whom House Jesby is named. Admitting to be of an estimated ten thousand years old, 'Tia' has spent much of her life in Black Zone shadows under arranged marriages. Her reputation is as the Black Widow of Jesby yet despite the deaths of her past husbands, no proof has ever been given to reveal her guilt. Remarriage, once her children were set upon the throne of that shadow and the shadow given to Jesby hands, was simply too quick and efficient for investigations to yield any results.

Recently, House Caline was revived and made independant of Jesby again. Some say the planning for this move had taken centuries. Others say luck at last came her way. Either way, more than a half dozen charges against her from the Crown, her liege lord, and Jesby were dropped without a single trial being held. The reconstruction has begun. However, the luck was not to last. Due to certain misunderstandings between Hendrake and Caline, the Baroness was forced to leave the Courts, living in effective exile in Shadow, the House passing on to her daughter, Llaelith, instead.

Na'Ptah Renimar Caline - Son of Na'Ptah Khalid and one of his many consorts, Renimar was raised within the Guild, knowing his heritage and biding his time whilst Caline suffered through the Jesby atrocities. Believing Tia to be a minion of Jesby, he maintained his distance, keeping his ancestry hidden just as his father did. Lady Arana, long absent Consort and mother of Caumeglin is still 'missing' in Shadow and it is thought that he may plan to seek her out.

Hope of Caline

Baroness Llaelith Caline - Born in the shadow Menzo and raised with a destiny, as pronounced by the Goddess of the Golden Spider, Llaelith had been brought out of her home Shadow as Heir Apparant to House Caline. Recently, with her mother having been exiled into Shadow, she has been granted the title of Baroness by the Archduchess Sawall, to lead the House towards a greater destiny, restoring it to its former glory. To this Turning, much is unknown of the Baroness and still many wait to see how her rule over Caline transpires.

Chaise Darion-Jesby - Eldest son of Pateria and Duke Tmer Jesby, the former Lord High Justice was 'Tia's pride and joy. Conceived when she was just 20 yrs old, Chaise is the only child of Tia's who was raised in Chaos. His paternity was hidden in hopes of his someday becomming the new Duke. But such hopes have dwindled despite this information being used in battering for Caline's independance. Officially declaring himself Houseless, 'Tia had previously requested his return to Caline as Political Advisor to her. It may well be that should Chaise return to the Courts from recent travels, the current Baroness, Llaelith, may well ask him to perform the same function. Only time will tell more.

Our Youth

Paladin Jesby - Grandson of Pateria and son of Chaise, Paladin previously came to 'Tia asking for help in order to overcome the brainwashing Chaise unknowingly committed on his own son when Paladin led a Shadow mutiny against House Jesby. Since this time however, to all appearances, he has sought refuge in Shadow. Perhaps waits for a time to return for some other action to be taken.

Other Members

Tamarand of Jahnoth (Commander of Forces) - Brought up amongst the slums in the Courts, only recently having sought his way to Caline, Tamarand took employment as Commander of Caline's forces. Since his arrival, Caline's army has swelled in number, and there are those who wonder what it is he strives towards. What many talk of, however, is how close the Commander and Baroness appear to be, often meeting to discuss House business.

Sychaeus of Chaos (House Sorceror) - Seeming to be a weak and withered old man, one might ask to question his suitability as a House Sorceror. However, it seems that Baroness Llaelith has confidence in him and thus, maybe he is more adept than he may at first appear.

AtArayn of Chaos (House Demonologist) - Recruited from amongst others of the same profession within the Courts, AtArayn provides guidance to those within the House pertaining to his field of excellence. Having recently been released from his apprenticeship, he seeks to prove of himself and his talents.

Loraerael of Chaos (House Artist) - Taken into Caline under circumstances that set many a tongue wagging, Lora has seen many tempestuous moments since her arrival. Said to be quite insane, she was recently placed under House arrest subsequent to an incident with Lady Riga of Hendrake. Reports are that she was beaten and punished, and now who knows what may become of her? And yet, she is apparently just an artist...

Sceleris of Chaos (House Seneschal) - Brought to Shadow Menzo in Quatrains past by Pateria, Llaelith recently brought Sceleris back to the Courts so that she may serve as Seneschal to Caline. Perhaps she is a source of strength for the Baroness, aiding her in her transition to her new role amongst the Courts. Whether or not there is any truth to this, what is certain is that she serves Caline with unchallenged loyalty, seeing that the day to day duties around the House are met and dealt with efficiently.

Arana Kinstol - Mother to Caumeglin, and once consort to Na'Ptah Renimar of the Waysmaster Guild, her unprepared mind was unable handle the effects of Chaos. Slowly, over time, her mind deteriorated and despite her love for Renimar and her infant son she disappeared. Her memory is fondly recalled by the man who yearns for her return and the son who never knew her.
