Welcome to Tel Aviv High-Rises homepage. This webpage is dedicated to tracking the various high-rise construction projects taking place in the Tel Aviv vicinity, Israel. To put this into context, existing high-rises are included as well. Some of the photos I took myself, on a rainy day in November 1999. Some are more recent, taken in September 2000. Since I don't live in Israel but only visit from time to time, It's difficult for me to provide the most recent photographs, so any contribution is more than welcome! The information and data provided here should be taken with a grain of salt. Construction plans can suddenly change if approvals or rejections are given by the authorities to add floors to original plans. Even data on existing buildings depends on who you ask. I've tried to collect data from various sources, primarily from the real-estate sections of Israeli newspapers such as Haaretz, Globes, and Tel Aviv Magazine. Additionally, several websites have been helpful in providing information (see links below). |
