Theme Song: Paula Cole - I Don't Want to Wait
International Theme Song: Elsewhere - Jann Arden (This was used only in the first series)
Lyrics to Elswhere:
My heart is in my hands
My head is in the clouds
My feet have left the ground
My life is turning around and round
And every voice inside my head is telling me to run like mad
Oh, bows and arrows
Stars and sunsets
hey hey hey yeah
hey hey hey yeah
And every heartbeat
Every kiss just makes me wonder what all this is
Suits of armour
Hearts and arrows
Hey hey hey yeah
Hey hey hey yeah

You can get hold of special collectable C.D's. You can tell a collectable because if you look very closely at the spine of the C.D case it has a picture of a character (you can get either Dawson, Joey, Pacey or Jen) and then inside, behind where the C.D is there is a limited edition picture of that certain character.

Sony had this to say about the C.D's:

**************************************************************** If you've checked out the track list for the "Dawson's Creek" Soundtrack, you'll notice that while a handful of songs have been used in previous episodes, many of the songs are new to you. EXECUTIVE PRODUCER PAUL STUPIN talks about the soundtrack:

OLD AND NEW
"We wanted the soundtrack to feature powerful music both from previous episodes and upcoming episodes. You're going to be hearing many of these songs between now and the end of the season, and a few cuts will be saved for next season, so you can look forward to hearing those. Just like our show, we wanted the soundtrack to be fresh and forward-looking, not just a rehashing of old music. A lot of time and effort has gone into making sure these songs are special and memorable. Many of the tracks were chose because they worked so well under powerful moments in the upcoming episodes. For example, Cahantal Kreviazuk recorded 'Feels Like Home' specifically for 'Dawson's Creek'. Other songs you'll recognize -- when you hear 'London Rain' by Heather Nova, you are reminded of moments from this past seasons. Just the same, as you begin to hear the new tracks on the show, you will have new memories to attach to these songs. Part of the history of 'Dawson's Creek' has been finding interesting and beautiful music from artists that may be new to you. We continue this tradition on our soundtrack.

COLLECTIBLE
"In addition, the soundtrack has a collectible feature. Each CD highlights a different character from 'Dawson's Creek' with a full photo on the inside. Future pressings of the CDs will not include this -- they will have a group photo instead"
