The America, at the far left, can´t be seen in the painting. Far, the two Spanish corvettes, Villa de Madrid and the Blanca, under Commander Alvar Gonzales. Below, a charcoal drawing of the majestic Spanish fleet in front of Valparaiso, before two of of their ships were dispatched to Chiloe against the allied squadron.
