A group of Northern Growers, who are outstanding in their field who will answer questions on any difficulties that growers have.
They are led by Northern Secretary BILL WADE. supported by Robin Holmes
Roger Brownbridge and Keith Dixon.

MARCH / APRIL and DECEMBER Slide Shows and Lectures These Months have been traditionally used for lectures, given by outstanding growers.
All the usual topics have been covered, and we look forward to more in the year 2000
Speakers cover subjects including: Early and Late Sprays: Early and Late Disbuds
The December Meeting introduces slides from the National Shows, with informed discussion

It is also the policy for the Society to invite speakers on other topics. There has been excellent Talks on Vegetables, Begonias etcetera. This will continue in 2000 so that all tastes are catered for.
The Society is affiliated to the National Vegetable Society as well as the National Chrysanthemum Society. Medals from both Societies are awarded at both Shows.
