Right, on with the action and the Unders first heat was for the classics, 622 Ifor Evans made the first contact of the day by burying Fat Boy Slims backwards into the fence, the baby A40 soon recovering to give his spun attacker a head on on the next bend. 313 Mayhem duly fired up the back of Slim before 260 Mr Mag in his Fintail Cambridge t-boned Pacman. 199 Cullen also used his Dolly to wack the Real Steel man which was just behind the door as 727 Young steamed Rob the Roof on the pit bend. 171 Rowell went in on Mr Mag on the back stretch before the lively Young run Rob the Roof in, Rowell again doing Mr Mag before 156 Chearman walled Young.  Next up was the Unders RWD cars, 283 Webby firing his Lada estate into 134 Toady over the wheel at the start before 5 Terry Eltham put himself in after a failed attack on 969 Jamie Pickup.  The first Overs heat for classics got off to a bang when Cross used his 6/110 to jack 8 Martin Haycock superbly, albeit with an assist from Harrisons big Yank leaving the 4R a big mess. 584 Sharky buried Wetherick into Podge before 879 Wrecked Reg followed in Harrison well spelling the end of the day for the large Yank. Turbo now followed in Wetherick superbly before firing up the back of Bretts Merc, the latter also coming under fire from Suttons Westy. Now there was no justification in this and he was deserverdly loaded and surely a ban awaits. We've said it many times before 'If you cant take your hits, stay in the pits' or better still get out the sport. Why people cant have a laugh, get out and shake hands and promise to do them next time they meet on track I dont know, its Bangers for Gods sake, your meant to hit things.

The next Overs heat saw 105 Chris Snell head on 505 Stuart Taylors Saab 900 before Nige dished out similar treatment to 85 Richard Ashtons Capri. 903 Rob Hayes arrived to steam Nige with 852 Powell in the Patrol inturn doing Hayes. 731 Shaun Dyer then followed 521 Ace Ash into 169 Jason Harrison killing two Bears with one stone! 53 Garmo followed Snell hard into Dyer with 422 Alvin Lewis inturn doing Garmo, the latter though gaining swift revenge by following his attacker into the pile on the bottom bend and obliterating Dyers Jag in the process.  The last heat of the first set saw 44 Wildy land a big t-bone on 229 Razz with 28 Ozzie also firing up Razz, 587 Kerry then hitting 721 The Thug which was close to the door. Wildy inturn did Kerry with 177 Matt Whitehead also registering a hit on the Crown, 424 the Wizard blowing up 589 Dean Plowman and took a shot off Bricknell for his troubles, Mitch also firing hard up the back of the Bear 740 estate with Ozzie quickly on the scene to blast Mitch. 899 Lee Madden took the win with Wildy burying Ozzie on the run down.

Gavage swifty arrived to trash the back end of the Bear as 656 Liam Findley t-boned 10 Michael O'Dare before Adams followed in Taylor. 112 Rusty was first to the flag from 215 Sherlock and 481 Bernie Spiers. Meatball seeing the race out sadly by coming off the infield to do Lenny Boy.

99 Richie Ahern gave a head on out to Ash at the start of the penultimate heat before Wetherick did Tombo over the back wheel, Wrecked Reg then weighing into 578 Bryan Tritton as Sharky followed in Ahern well. Hyde then met Kilf head on but took a shot from Garmo as a consequence before Isherwood t-boned 750 the Rock, the lively Sharky then blowing up Whitehead before blasting Hyde. Garmo then pulled off a cracking follow in on 40 Darren Ankerson as Isherwood took the win from 6 the Good Lord and 62 Liam Bunce, the Thug clouting Aherns dead motor on the run down

The last heat started with Lewis steaming 70 Steven Hart allowing Ozzie to waste the the former, Ash arriving to destroy the Vole estate as 153 Richard Martin weighed into the Wizard before 528 Jethro turned it round to do the Wizard and 248 Daisy head on. Dorrill took the honours as Martin landed a solid t-bone on Jethro.

The unders final was the quietest race of the day, only action seeing 575 Tritton wall the leading Shinny and Dan Lewis jack 18 Burgess as the leading Gedney fired Young across the infield tyres en-route to his second big win in as many weeks. Winnie followed him over the line with 8 Day in third.

The start of the Overs final saw Mr Ass t-bone Sir Rusty early doors with Dorrill then walling 112 a lap later as Turbo did Charles head on on oppo. Turbo also weighed into 756 Bart albeit on the centre as 231 Stuart Dunn had Overy out with Mushy given the initial win but a lap sheet check confirmed Isherwood the winner from Overy and Mushy in third.
Onto the Allcomers races and the Unders were first up, they had to split them into two races with 28 Alan Grant t-boning Rob the Roof at the start of the first one before Beach jacked 899 Collins in the Mk3 while 328 Morse steamed 851 Mark Howell. Tritton celebrated another win this time 936 Malc Sharp and 801Steve Holland his placemen.

Gedney celebrated his final win by running 722 Bob Ewins in at the start of the second Allcomers before Webby dished out a head on to 98 Brian Deeprose as Chearman put Gedney in with the reds appearing for Deeprose. Soon back under way again with Gedney latching onto 610 Marcus Chant and superbly following him into 106 Clive Bowker, 12 Kenny Gabriel then jacking 582 Stephen Tustain well, the latter also copping a t-bone from Holmes as 361 Chris Codgell walled Pete Cullen. Winnie took the chequered in this one with Slap and Spiers his placemen.

The Rock steamed O'Dare at the start of the Overs Allcomers before Harrison followed in Taylor well, the reds then coming out for 02 Dave O'Sullivan who had been knocked off his car whilst exiting and lucky to escape injury. Powell in the Patrol run 147 Kane German in on the restart before Winnie buried Thompson into the growing pile on the pit bend with Bunny doing likewise to Oatleys Ten. Charles then blew up Jethro with 199 Jamie Wyatt arriving to steam Charles, Sherlock inturn wasting Wyatt as 231 Dunn took the win.

Onto the Unders DD where the devastating Gedney run Cullens Dolly round before Collins boned Thomas, Gedney then firing Collins into Martindale as  Lewis walled 610 Chant. Gedneys day came to a close when Nuttley piled him head on into Chearman with Chant also doing the latter on the nose, Lewis then doing Chant just behind the door as the reds appeared for a fire in Youngs motor. All OK and we were soon back underway with Cullun firing up 961 Lording with Webby doing Cullen, the former then hooking out 18 Burgess on oppo as Nuttley weighed into 74 Anthony Ribeiros Rover 216. Webby now steamed Burgess and met Lording in a stiff head on, Codgell arriving on the scene to jack Lording before Webby and the latter again went head to head, Codgell handed victory after Webby went up in smoke.

Last race of the day was the Overs DD after a mammoth 20 race shedule, including Thompson and Ozzie who had both made a monumental effort to get their cars back on track. Sharky and 622 Ifor Evans enjoyed a head on at the start before 70 Steven Hart run Kilf in, Sharky now doing Nige head on with the Thug quickly gaining Bear revenge before dishing out a big roof bender to 12 Gabriel, Ozzie giving the Thug a head on with 124 Orris inturn doing 28, 6 the Good Lord getting stuck into Bunny before Norris buried Evans into Sharky and the Thug steamed 138 Steve Goldup. Danny Sutton now fired back into life and promptly met the Thug head on which killed both, the Thug deserverdly given the win with Sutton runner up.

This brought the curtain down on a really excellent meeting, where else would you get 20 top Banger races for a tenner!? A meeting partly made by some of the one man performances by 186 Gedney, 400 Shinny and 53 Garmo, just a shame about the bit of trouble early in the day but a well run meeting left most saying it was one of the best Heavy Metal Classics yet.
