 At the moment there are 10 members in the Cranes VSU, these are
  • Gemma Sams, Chairman of the group. Joined in 1998 and looks after the socially challenged members of the group .Nicknames consist of: Littledumb, because she is short! Also Yoda, because she knows everything and yoda has a cute bum!!

  • David Jenkins, Me the primary author of the Cranes web page and all round brilliant person and the Secretary of the unit. Nickname: Mole due to the haircut and rather mole like features!

  • Tim Marks,joined late 1998. He was invested on Western Supermare beach with rather an impressive set of female anatomy! The tea boy who tends to physically miraculous feats. Nickname: Smirnoff due to an incident with Vodka.

  • Chris Found, He joined in 1999 and takes great joy in singing and playing his guitar at any opertunity.He is enthusiastic and enjoys several of our activities. Nickname: Cornelius, He wont let me say why

  • Alex Hayward, The treasurer we will have to see how he does! He joined in 2000 . Nickname:Milky Bar Kid or Le Clerk because of his looks

  • Chris Tiltman, New and joined late 2000, and is yet to be invested! But he will be! However he escapes the embarrassing investiture due to his involvement with the Scout BBQ when he dressed up as one of the spice girls! He likes to be known for his feet of 10 in 1 night! (Suposedly!)

  • Tom Gray, Also new and joined the same time as Tiltman, he is somewhat quieter but still as enthusiastic as the rest. He is very funny when he relaxes as witnessed at the Venture Xmas meal! Tom and Chris Tiltman had an interesting experience in the back of Dans car as they mooned two girls in a mini on the way back from swimming one day. We have not given him a nickname yet!

  • Natalie Wood, is also new and another lovely young female to join our unit! She is fun and friendly and helps Nita at cubs. We havent named her yet but im sure we will!

  • Buffy, the group mascot, she was found in a hedge outside of Aylsford newsprint. Chris Sams then carried her all the way home where she was washed. She was originally known as "THE PINK THING" followed by "NITA" (our GSL) and at the last AGM she was renamed "BUFFY" which is the name she currently has.

  • Chris Sams, a member who is at uni and so comes to meetings when he is back at home. He was the primary author of this site before it was removed. Nickname: Aussie Chris due to his comical ausie hat also known for his bad impressions! Chris is also a Star Wars fanatic. If you think that you know more about star wars than him I will put you in touch.

  • David Grant, a member also at uni. Nickname: The Fat Friar due to his shape.

    There are also a couple of people who are being invited along regularly and will be added if they decide to join.

    This page will be updated as new members join and will have photos of the most embarrassing things that I can find except of me which will be the best I can find.
