My World Travels.

This page is a link to a whole lot of pages on my and my family's world travels.

California is the furthest west I have been and Calcutta the furthest East. Cape Cormorin on the south coast of India is the furthest South and Oslo the furthest North.

I have also visited Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, Malta, Wales, Portugal, Belgium,, Austria, Monaco ,Liechenstein, The Netherlands, Norway,Sweden, Canada. Germany,Gibralter, Morocco, Aden (Yemen),Greece,France, Ireland, Italy,Israel, Palestine,the Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Scotland, I have sailed through the Suez Canal so I have seen but not set foot in Egypt. Countries I would like to visit include all of the |Carribean, Brazil, Venezuela and other places in South America, Kenya, South Africa, Sri Lanka......and much else. I would also like to see the pyramids and the Great Wall of China and cross the equator.

My travels from my birthplace in England to the USA, India, Sweden Denmark and Norway all by the time I was six. The next will tell of my childhood growing up in India from travelling there aged 6 and half to returning to England aged 12. It will mainly concentrate on Kodaikanal which will have its own pages. Kodaikanal is a hillstation where I went to school. We were surrounded by a small south Indian township and beautiful, awe-inspiring scenery . At the same time we were in an American school learning American history and geography and learning about decimal currency in the years leading up to India adopting the decimal system years before Britain did.It willalso tell the story of my children's travels which have been mostly in Europe.It will also tell the history of London and a guide to modern London.
