Season 2001-2002 league Predictions

The Fans voice.

Lindsay Laird, gives his Verdict on the clubs and players to look out for in 2001/02.

Lindsay Laird, Dundee.

1. Celtic:-
To win as they have held on to the same team but by a lesser margin.

2. Rangers:-
As they have to rebuild their midfield and will have to bed them in.

3. Dundee:-
Will get their Uefa cup place as they will show more consistancy than the previous season.

4. Hearts:-
As Levein is getting a more positive reaction from them than Jeffries got.

5. Hibs:-
Will find last season's highs hard to follow.

6.Dunfermline:-
Will continue to improve under Calderwood.

7. Killie:-
Will miss out on top 6 place as they find it tough to put 2 good seasons together.

8. Aberdeen:-
Rely on too many youngsters for to break into top 6.For them more mid-table mediocrity.

9. Dundee Utd:-
Will stay out of the relegation battle this season as Alex Smith has steadied the ship but won't threaten top 6.

10. Livingstone:-
Will bring new life into the SPL but will do well to avoid relegation having spent more money than St.Mirren.

11. Motherwell:-
Will struggle to replace all the players that have left.

12. St.Johnstone:-
Have punched above their weight for some time. However with financial restraints making it hard to hang onto players and low attendances I think they are for the drop in a 3-way fight
