The Football Aid organisers were very happy with the turnout and the money raised by the event and it was left to the two Managers to select the Players of the match from the opposing sides.

Peter Marr selected the Home Goalkeeper Neil Sinclair saying even though he'd let in five it could have been more if it wasn't for him.

Garry Joiner was selected by Kenny Cameron, as he'd been rock solid at the back for the away team.
