Season 2001-2002 league Predictions

The Fans voice.

Donald Joiner, gives his Verdict on the clubs and players to look out for in 2001/02.

Donald Joiner - Dundee

1. Celtic:-
- Will be as good as they were last season, i'm sorry to say.

2. Rangers:-
- Lost three key players in midfield. Despite signing that guy, what's is name....Caniggia, will be simply second best, and I don't think he will play every week either.

3. Hibs:-
- Kept their squad pretty much together and a signed two quality players. Ex Dee Luna being one of them.

4. Dundee:-
- The quality footballing performances should get more results on the park. Will have to tighten up at the back though and lots of goals for.

5.Hearts:-
- Continual top half finishers. I don't see that changing.

6. Killie:-
- Last few seasons ended up in the right half of the table. But only just this season.

7. Dundee Utd:-
- Alex Smith is a good manager and will get the best out of the players at his disposal. Hopefully, not against the Dee.

8. Aberdeen:-
- Ebbe really has to get it right this season or he is out on his ear. Lost their top striker. He's away to baa-tures new ! (sorry couldn't resist that).

9. Dunfermline
- A team sometimes hard to break down. Another consecutive season in SPL.

10. Livingston:-
- Proved they can hack it in SPL by putting the Dons out the cup last season. Experienced players have been signed. Will survive.

11. Motherwell:-
- Signed quite a few young players for next season, however, I still think they will struggle.

12. St.Johnstone:-
- Lost a couple of key players to their squad to rival teams and so far have not been replaced. Anyway, it's about time they were down.

Scottish Cup Final
Rangers V Celtic 2-1(a.e.t.)
CIS Cup Final
Dundee V Celtic 0-1
