Season 2001-2002 league Predictions

The Fans voice.

Alistair McEwan, gives his Verdict on the clubs and players to look out for in 2001/02.

1: Celtic:-
: Likely to lift it again.

2: Rangers:-
: Will be lucky to finish 2nd with all the players that they are losing, but strength of reserves will see them through

3: Hearts:-
: String run last season, will keep it up

4: Dundee:-
: Building on last seasons achievements, will start well, and falter in the run up after a long hard season

5: Killie:-
: Dull, but probably there

6: Aberdeen:-
: Good youngsters coming through, better proposition than last season

7: Dundee Utd:-
: Improved as the season went on (couldn't get any worse). Will miss out on top six because of losing 3 times to the Dee

8: Dunfermline: another dull side which will just hang around mid table

9: Hibs:-
: Latapy is past it, Mixu is too old. Good side over last few years which will break up. Had their day.

10: St.Johnstone:-
: Yawn, at least we will only have to play them 3 times

11: Livingston:-
: More hopeful than anything else, but I'd like to see them Hopefully survive their first season in the premier - are trying hard and are a nice breath of fresh air.

12: Motherwell:-
: Good riddance. Shame only one team can go down as I'd like to see a few others in this position too!

Player to watch this season? It's got to be FabCab. Larsson will do well again, but Caballero will strike equal fear into defenders hearts.

Dundee will grace a cup final as well, probably the CIS v Celtic,

with the Old Firm battling out the Scottish Cup final.
