Corner Cottage is a newly built property, completed during 2001.
The village of Cropwell Bishop is ideally situated to explore
Nottinghamshire and the Vale of Belvoir. Although the cottage is in
the countryside with all its quaint villages, country pubs and
excellent walking, the city is only eight miles away. Nottingham is
famed for its shopping, entertainment and nightlife. Situated on the
edge of the village, the cottage overlooks open farmland and is by
the Grantham canal.
The cottage is approximately half a mile from the village shops
that include a small supermarket, butchers, hairdressers, beauty
salon, cob shop and Post Office general store. There are also two
village inns within the same distance. There are regular buses
connecting the village with Nottingham, for both the Coach Station
and Railway Station.
The cottage consists of a living room, kitchen diner and bedroom
with ensuite facilities. It is furnished to a high standard and is
located next to the owner's own property. There is off road parking
alongside the cottage for one car.
The bedroom has a double bed so the property is best suited to
couples. The bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower, basin and
WC. All doorframes are wider than usual to enable guests with
mobility problems to use wheelchairs in the cottage.
The cottage has a small garden, with a patio, lawn and
